APAC Summit
Barrister Remuraur Rahman and Barrister Remura Meheruba Mahbub made history as the first lawyers from Bangladesh ever to be sponsored and invited as VIP Guests to the inaugural APAC Counsel Summit by The Economist — one of the most prestigious gatherings of in-house legal leaders in Asia Pacific.
Across panels, dinner tables, and the hotel corridors of the Pan Pacific Singapore, they engaged with the heads of legal from some of the world's most recognisable corporations — people who carry immense responsibility yet made time to talk, exchange ideas, and build bridges with two young lawyers from Dhaka.
"Proud that TRW could represent Bangladesh on a stage like this — proud to see our voice matters and does resonate around the world."
— Barrister Remuraur Rahman, October 2025
Minister Indranee Rajah SC — Singapore's Second Minister for Finance
The invitation came through Minister Indranee Rajah SC, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance of Singapore — a relationship first forged at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The Minister's personal encouragement of cross-border collaboration between Singapore and Bangladesh, extended to two young lawyers from Dhaka, was described by Barrister Remuraur as "meaning everything to us."
